Lexiang Technology has announced the completion of its angel round, raising nearly ¥200 million at a valuation of approximately ¥600 million. The round was led by IDG Capital, with participation from ZhenFund. The funding will primarily be used for product development and team expansion.

Founded in December 2024 by Renjie Guo, former President of Dreame China, Lexiang Technology is building a team that blends industry expertise and youthful innovation. The company’s nine-member founding team includes a former CTO from a trillion-RMB company, seasoned consumer electronics experts, and dynamic Gen Z innovators. Founder and CEO Guo Renjie emphasized: “We must balance the innovation brought by young minds with the experience necessary for execution—creating an environment where young people can change the world while holding ourselves to the highest global product standards from day one.”

Born in 1997, Guo entered university at 15 and graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University’s Young Talent Program and the Jinhe Center for Economic Research. He later earned a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). In 2021, he joined Dreame, where he led the China business from zero to ¥6 billion, driving Dreame to become the No.1 brand in China’s cleaning appliances market while leading its premiumization strategy.

Lexiang Technology aims to commercialize cutting-edge innovations in robotics and AI, transforming frontier technologies into consumer-ready products. “AI-powered robotics is advancing at an unprecedented pace. Drawing from my experience in the consumer sector, I want to explore new opportunities for bringing these technologies to market from a different perspective,” Guo remarked.

In its initial phase, the company will focus on technology development and consumer insights, refining its core products while gradually establishing proprietary core components, in-house production, and a robust distribution moat. Looking ahead, Lexiang Technology is committed to integrating global technology advancements with consumer product expertise, driving continued breakthroughs and leadership in consumer hardware innovation.
