On June 13th, XtalPi successfully listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 02228.HK), officially becoming the "First AI-Powered Pharmaceutical Stock" and the "First Specialty Technology Stock in Hong Kong".  In 2016, ZhenFund participated in XtalPi‘s Series A funding round.

Founded in 2015 by three MIT postdoctoral physicists, Shuhao Wen, Jian Ma, and Lipeng Lai, XtalPi is committed to realizing digital and intelligent transformations in the fields of life sciences and new materials.

Shuhao Wen, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board, holds a PhD in Physics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and conducts postdoctoral research at the University of California and MIT. He has published a total of 36 papers in internationally renowned journals.

Jian Ma, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, holds a PhD in Physics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and conducts postdoctoral research at the University of California and MIT. He is also a part-time professor at Zhejiang University.

Lipeng Lai, Executive Director and Chief Innovation Officer, holds dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Peking University, a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago, and conducted postdoctoral research at MIT.
